NYS Business Plan Competition Regionals
One of the nation’s largest student business competitions, the New York State Business Plan Competition, is a venture creation and innovation competition organized and hosted by the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering (CNSE) where New York’s most promising collegiate entrepreneurs and startup companies compete for over $100,000 in funding.
The competition encourages students to fully engage in their research and allows them to gain valuable experience through presenting their business plan to potential investors and industry executives. The topical areas of submission include:
- Clean Energy / Sustainability
- Healthcare
- Information Technology / Software
- Nanotechnology / High Tech
- Products / Services
- Social / Non-Profit
Student from colleges and universities in Central New York that wish to be considered as a finalist for the NYBPC must submit their application at this website and be selected as one of two finalists in one of the six categories to move on to the state competition on April 26, 2013 in Albany.
